Description

We’re seeking a confident, consistent 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 2 with an ASD diagnosis and behavioural needs. The ideal candidate will be firm, calm, and able to build a trusting relationship, while following established intervention strategies to provide stable, effective support.

Hourly rate :£14.50- £15+ per hour dependent on experience (plus holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD and behavioural regulation needs.
• Deliver intervention strategies set by the school to ensure consistency.
• Maintain clear boundaries while supporting engagement and emotional regulation.
• Supervise the pupil during lunchtime from 12pm, playtimes, and other unstructured times.
• Monitor safety, behaviour, and participation throughout the school day.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO.
